SC “Mongoose” was founded in 2001 in Odessa city in order to popularize and develop culture of Brazilian jiu-jitsu, grappling and MMA.
Magdiev Magomed is the founder and president of the “Mongoose” club. He is also the president of the Odessa regional federation of pankration, master of sports of the USSR, honored coach of Ukraine and founder of the International Prize for Achievements in Sport “Golden Mongoose”.
Since club’s establishment, SC “Mongoose” couches have trained a lot of champions, winners of the Ukrainian and European championships. Today more than 250 athletes, aged from 4 years train in the “Mongoose” club. In addition, the SC “Mongoose” conducts special training sessions for employees of private security structures.
