The first-ever Ukrainian professional Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu championship will take place in Kropyvnytskyi city on March 14th, 2020.
The championship will be held under the IBJJF rules (2002 and older IBJJF blue belt rules). All fighters are required to know and understand the IBJJF rules. Moreover, all participants of the championship will go through a Gi check before starting the match. All participants must have a Gi for Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, children are allowed to participate in the Gi for Judo. In case of absence of the Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Gi, juniors and adults will be disqualified without a refund of the entry fee.
Prizers of the Ukraine BJJ Pro
Children (6-15 years old). The first-place winners in their weight categories will receive 5,000 UAH: 2,000 UAH in cash and a certificate to the value of 3,000 UAH for training camp at the “Borets” sports base in Kropyvnytskyi city, Ukraine.
Juniors (16-17 years old), adults (18-29 years old), and masters (30+ years old). The first-place winners in their weight categories will receive 6,000 UAH: 3,000 UAH in cash and a certificate to the value of 3,000 UAH for training camp at the “Borets” sports base in Kropyvnytskyi city, Ukraine.
It should be noted that each category must have at least 6 participants for receiving cash prize and certificate to the training camp. If the category has less than 6 fighters than prize-winners are awarded only with medals without cash prizes and certificates.
Prizers for team places
The team total consists of the points for all categories: both for children and adults. The first five clubs according to the statistics of the smoothcomp program “Best Academy” receive cash prize and cups.
1st place — 30,000 UAH
2nd place — 20,000 UAH
3rd place — 10,000 UAH
4th place — 5,000 UAH
5th place — 3,000 UAH
